Tired of the same old broccoli and cauliflower. Then try my roasted broccoli and cauliflower with garlic. Simple, tasty and loaded with antioxidants, minerals and fiber.
I start with organic broccoli and cauliflower. I used a medium head of broccoli and 3/4 of a large head of cauliflower for this recipe. I also used a really large bulb of garlic because we love it. Cut up the veggies and place on a cookie sheet, then add the garlic cloves (unpeeled) and drizzle generously with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Now toss the veggies and garlic around to evenly distribute the oil and salt. Spread evenly and pop into a preheated 350 oven for around 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the veggies and how brown and crisp you want them. Enjoy and here’s to your health (and taste buds) Oh, and to enjoy the garlic just squeeze the clove and all of the yummy goodness comes out. It’s really mild and buttery in flavor.
